Today we celebrate the wonderful success of Banyana Banyana winning the WAFCON last night.

One of our own, Thalea Smidt , contributed to this win. We also remember other young Seagulls who, in recent years, have achieved national colours at various age groups. All of them took their first football steps where our present young kids are training and playing.

The common factor however, in all their journeys, is the unfailing support of their parents throughout their football journeys so far. The same goes for other players from our club making their way in the pro game.

There’s a lesson in that for our present edition of baby Seagulls….and our parents and guardians.
